Favourites 127th Battalion beat 4th Battalion 58-34 in the final to win the CRPF Inter-Battalion Operational Kabadi Tournament at Kabrapali CRPF Campus in Sambalpur yesterday.
Dalbir Singh of 127th Battalion and Balbir Ram of 4th Battalion emerged as the leading scorers of the match. Apart from the finalists, five others teams including host 32nd Battalion, 69th Battalion, 58th Battalion and group centres of Bhubaneswar and Durgapur participated in the tournament.
`CRPF DIG, Rabindra Tomar accompanied by 32nd Battalion Commandant V V Vaid and 2nd-in Command Satyapal Singh handed over trophy and prizes at the closing function.
